Shipping Policy:

All shipping is done via UPS. The cost of shipping is dependent on the value of your purchase. We require a signature for all deliveries (You cannot Waive Signature Delivery), and we cannot deliver to P.O Boxes. Please reference the chart below for the cost and the type of service. You can choose ground (usually 5-7 business days if the article is in stock. Please note that it may be longer; we cannot control UPS or Express (which is usually 2-3 business days if the article is in stock).

Please remember that UPS does not deliver on the weekend or federal holidays. If you order overnight, 2 or 3-day express it may take longer: all express methods apply only to business days.

We can also ship your purchase as a gift to another party if indicated that you would like the complimentary gift-wrap. All prices will be deleted from the gift and a complimentary gift card message can also be included if you include the card message in the shipping comments section. Please note UPS makes 3 attempts to deliver a package, and on the third attempt the package is returned to LaLaLing. In the event of undeliverable packages, the purchaser is responsible for the shipping costs to and from the delivery address and will receive an online credit for the returned goods.

*Please remember that you are responsible for all shipping costs to and from LaLaLing for exchanges and/or edited orders. Please note that items may be out of stock and we make every attempt to contact the customer in the event of out of stock inventory with suggestions for replacement of out of stock items. If you do not accept the replacement option(s) suggested, a full refund of the out of stock item will be applied to your credit card.

Please note we cannot ship to P.O. boxes - the delivery address must be a street address. Orders to P.O. boxes will be cancelled.

Gift Certificates:

Gift certificates can be purchased online in denominations of $50, $75, $100. You can buy multiples of each denomination. Furthermore, gift certficates can be used in store or online via a telephone order. (We can also set up an online gift certificate if the full name of the recipient is advised.)
Returns and Exchanges:

La La Ling prides itself on offering the highest quality merchandise. If you are not happy with your purchase, return the unused item in its original condition within 14 business days of receipt of item(s) and we will provide you with a online store credit, less shipping costs.

Please note - the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with exchanges unless LaLaLing.com has sent the wrong size or item.

Please note all returns must be sent via UPS or registered mail as we need a signature.

In addition, undergarments, jewelry, swimwear, sale items, furniture and special custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged.

Items purchased in the store in Los Angeles cannot be returned via the internet.

Please include a copy of the packing slip that is included with each shipped order, with a brief description of what the problem is with the merchandise and any instructions regarding exchanges or online store credit.
Web Credits:

Upon receipt of returned goods (as per the policies above) the customer will be issued a web credit that can be used to purchase alternative products on LaLaLing.com.

Web credits may be redeemed either online by typing in your LAST NAME in the promotional code section during the check-out process, OR over the phone by calling La La Ling directly at 323-664-4400.
Cancellation of Orders and Out of Stock Items:

You may only cancel your order via telephone, email or fax up to the time the order is shipped.

If the order has been processed and shipped, you cannot cancel the order, and can only be returned for an on-line credit. You are responsible for shipping costs to and from.

LaLaLing.com may cancel your order or part of your order if the item is sold out and no longer available.

Limited availability and price:

In the event a product or service is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, LaLaLing.com will have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product or service listed at the incorrect price.
Minors:

LaLaLing.com does not knowingly market to or knowingly solicit information from minors. Minors are ineligible to use our services, and we do not want minors to submit any personal information to us. If you are a minor, you can use this service only under the supervision of your parents or guardians. If a minor makes a purchase with their parents credit card without authorization, LaLaLing.com is not responsible for any refunds or returns no exceptions. The cardholder will have to dispute it with their credit card company and take any necessary precautions so that this will not happen again.



NURSERYWORKS SHIPPING POLICY:

La La Ling or Nurseryworks will notify customer of approximate shipping date on sales orders and invoices which are for convenience only and are not binding.

Shipping and handling charges for Nurseryworks items are quoted in U.S. dollars and include insurance. All orders are F.O.B. Los Angeles, California, unless otherwise specified.

Pricing

Nurseryworks rockers ship via UPS for $150 to any location in the US. Stools/ottomans ship at a cost of $47.

Nurseryworks bedding ships via UPS. The cost is $18 for each set and $10 for each additional sheet. Expedited shipping is available.

Shipping and delivery of larger furniture require special consideration. Due to the actual weight and size of large items, Nurseryworks must ship them via standard delivery, using standard freight carriers.

Shipping is calculated by zone. Each of the four zones have a minimum price that must be met with business to business shipping/no accessorials pricing. Otherwise, shipping is calculated by a percentage of the cost of the product. Residential deliveries are an additional $100.

Over the threshold delivery is available for an additional $50.

White glove installation service is available in Los Angeles and the New York metropolitan area. See pricing below.

An additional shipping fee of $100 is applied to all Duet Bunk Bed purchases and shipment, in addition to below pricing, due to the oversized components and additional weight.

Shipping Option/Standard Freight

Nurseryworks offers options for receiving freight:

Standard business delivery without accessorials. Items are to be taken off the truck by the recipient.

Standard residential curbside delivery. Items will be taken off the truck and brought onto the curb. Someone should be onsite to bring the order inside.

Over the threshold residential delivery. Items are taken off the truck and brought over the first dry threshold.

Tracking

Payment is required in full before your order can be released for shipping. Payment will be processed as early as 15 business days prior to your product leaving the fulfillment center due to the packing and ship method required to safely deliver your furniture

When an order is preparing to ship, Nurseryworks sends an e-mail with a load number or UPS tracking number via the email address on your invoice. The e-mail may be sent as early as ten business days prior to the order actually shipping. Click here for Nurseryworks order tracking, or be e-mail tracking@nurseryworks.net.

Transit takes 3-15 business days depending on the location, business or residential delivery. At certain times of the year, it can take longer.

Shipping Option/Pickup

Customers are welcome to pick up orders at the Nurseryworks warehouses in Chino, California. There is a $40 pickup fee for up to 8 items.

Shipping Option/International and Canadian Shipments

Nurseryworks will facilitate international shipments. Items can be picked up at Nurseryworks warehouse by the customer's shipper, or Nurseryworks can facilitate shipping and provide a quote. A commercial invoice will be provided and a recommended amount of insurance. Payment must be remitted in full before any order can be packed or shipped. If there is any damage upon receipt of the items, the purchaser is solely responsible for placing any claims. Replacement pieces for any and all damages will be purchased by customer. Nurseryworks will not be responsible for shipping damage.

Merchandise shipped outside the U.S. is not returnable.

Shipping Option/White Glove

Nurseryworks offers white glove services in Los Angeles and the New York metropolitan Area.

For white glove service in the New York metropolitan area, 23% of the wholesale cost will be charged for shipping. White glove fees listed below are in addition for installation services.

Receiving Shipments

Furniture items will be shipped via a standard freight carrier. Most carriers schedule deliveries Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm. Customers must be onsite to receive, inspect, and sign for delivery. Arrangements should not be made to have shipments dropped off when no one is onsite to receive them. For residential deliveries, when contacted by the carrier, it is important to make note of the carrier's name and phone number. This will be very helpful if the carrier needs to be contacted for any reason. It is essential that the carrier be contacted should there be a need to reschedule a delivery. When delivery appointments are missed, the carrier will apply a missed appointment charge of $60. Nurseryworks takes great care in packaging items to ensure safe transport. Even though items are packaged properly, transit-related damage can occur. When an order arrives, it is imperative that the outer boxes be inspected carefully and that any damage to the boxes and additional packaging materials is noted on the delivery receipt. Shipping documents should not be signed without recording details of transit damage. (For example: the box is scratched, dented, cracked; the fabric is torn; the box is crushed on the top corner, punctured, or wet.)

Claims

Nurseryworks is not responsible for damage suffered in transit or storage.

Nurseryworks will not be able to place a claim or work with a customer to replace damaged items if damage is not noted at time of delivery. Customers should retain all packaging until the order has been fully inspected.

It is the customer's sole responsibility to notify Nurseryworks of any claims for damage within 7 days; otherwise, Nurseryworks will be unable to assist with a claim. Returns/Exchanges

Due to the custom nature of the furniture, Nurseryworks does not accept returns or exchanges. If an item has been received and it is not the actual item ordered, all of the original packaging must be retained.

Please e-mail kim@nurseryworks.net, or call (888) 508 9540, ext 4 to obtain a return authorization number, and be sure to have the SKU and style number of the item on hand. Nurseryworks will arrange to have the incorrect item picked up immediately and the correct one sent.

Manufacturing Defects

If a shipment arrives with the appearance of a manufacturing defect, Nurseryworks must be notified by e-mailing info@nurseryworks.net, or by calling (888) 508 9540, ext 1 within 7 days of receipt. Nurseryworks requires digital pictures and a full description of the problem. Without a digital picture, no item or part will be replaced. Determination of defect is at Nurseryworks sole discretion. If a manufacturing defect determination is made, a return authorization number is required to ship back the item. Returns must be shipped with original packaging. Items returned incomplete or damaged will be assessed a restocking fee of 30%.

Finish Variations

Please note that Nurseryworks products are crafted by hand, so there may be variations in both texture and color of the finishes. These variations are not considered manufacturing defects.

Hardware And Finishes

Hardware is covered for one year under the Nurseryworks warranty policy.

Outside the warranty period, hardware is available for purchase.

If a child is teething, the furniture finish could be affected. A child can not be harmed as Nurseryworks low-VOC lacquers, finishes and glues comply with governmental standards and regulations. Nurseryworks suggests using guard rails on crib sides.
